Can a photo booth go outside?
Yes, with a few conditions. What a photo booth needs for an outdoor wedding or party: cover, power, a level spot and the right light.
Yes. Outdoor booths are common at backyard parties, farm weddings and tented receptions. The booth just needs four things.
Cover. A tent, a covered porch or a pavilion. The electronics can't get rained on, and direct sun washes out the screen and makes guests squint.
A level surface. Patio, deck or flooring under a tent. Soft grass lets the base sink and tilt over a few hours.
Power. A standard outlet nearby, or a generator with a clean, steady supply. Tell your vendor which one you have.
Something to shoot toward. A backdrop or a wall. Pointed into an open yard, the photos fill up with trees, cars and people walking by.
Evening is easier than midday. Once the sun drops, the booth's lighting does all the work and every photo looks consistent.
